Six months from the adoption of the Action Plan, on February 15 2007, the Government formed a Commission for monitoring its implementation. The Commission President is the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integrations, and members are Ministers of Internal Affairs and Public Administration, of Finances and Justice, two representatives of the Parliament, President of the Supreme Court, Supreme State Prosecutor, directors of Police Administration and Directorate for Anti-corruption Inititative, as well as the Executive Director of NGO MANS, while the Executive Director of NGO CEMI was subsequently apponinted a Commission member. The expert body which prepares materials for the Commission sessions was established by the Commission President and it is made up of representatives of Police Administration, Administration for Anti-Corruption Inititiative, Ministry of Justice, Supreme State Prosecutor and the Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration. This is the eleventh report of MANS that includes information on the realization of the Innovated Action Plan for implementation of the Programme of Fight against Corruption and Organized Crime, for the period from 2008 until the end of September 2009.
The Innovated Action Plan was adopted by the Government and it includes measures, subjects, indicators and time limits, for implementation of activities of all relevant state institutions with the aim to improve fight against corruption and organized crime. Implementation of the Action Plan is monitored by the National Commission made up of representatives of institutions in charge of implementation of activities prescribed by that document, whose member is also one representative of MANS.
