In the previous weeks MANS through the analysis of the electoral roll found a high number of irregularities in all cities in which local elections were planned. Identified irregularities we will additionally check in the field through the action “clean up the electoral roll in the neighborhood” – in which we will include a vast majority of interested citizens.
In the coming weeks and months MANS will carry out additional checks of the electoral roll – through which the citizens, accessing information of identified phantom voters and the list of voters for their street, would confirm, actually identified those who passed away, duplicate voters or voters who are not citizens of Montenegro, or they live two years or longer outside of Montenegro. In this way citizens will help us to report to the competent institutions those irregularities in order to remove them from the electoral roll before the forthcoming local elections. During this action we will identify and citizens who have been cleared from the electoral roll, but have the right to vote, and help them to be returned in the electoral roll.
Citizens can be included in this action through a series of info-booths that we will organize in the next few days, which will be repeated several times in the coming months. On the info-booths we will share particular promotional material, and specifically include the older generation who very well knows own neighborhood, and who has been in the past years an important source of information on irregularities in the electoral roll.
Info-booths will be held at the following locations:
March 12th and 13th, at 9am and 12pm – Zeta (in front of City Municipality) and the market Gintaš,
March 14th and 17th, at 9am and 12pm – Tuzi (across from High School “May 25”) ,
March 14th, at 10am and 12pm – Tax Administration (on Cvijeta’s hill),
Ministry of Interior (in front part of the building for the issuance of documents),
Health Fund (at the Emergency part- front part where the health cards are certified),
New Municipality (across from the park Karadordje),
March 17th, at 9am and 12pm- in front of the Health Center ” Block 5″,
-in front of the Health Center “Konik”,
March 18th, at 9am and 12pm- in front of the Health Center ” Nova Varos”,
March 24th, at 9am and 12pm- in front of the Health Center “Pobrežje”,
-In front of the Health Center ‘the Old Airport”.
