Regarding the decision of DPS to boycott the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee

0

Decision of DPS to boycott the meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Anti-Corruption is proof that the party is not ready to solve the issue of purchase ID cards, but tries to facts about these offenses hide from the public eye.

The position of the member of the Parliament Stanisic that MANS will not decide what will be done in the Parliament is an obvious consequence of the complex that they have gained during the adoption of the Law on financing political parties. First, it is the party of Mr. Stanisic who asked to be investigated statements from the recording on purchase of ID cards, published by MANS. Secondly, they suggested that question to be part of the agenda, actually to be solved within institutional framework and not through the media. Finally, the session of Anti-Corruption Committee is scheduled on the suggestion of the members of the parliament of two parties, Positive Party and Democratic Front.

Therefore, the cheap demagoguery of Mr. Stanisic and his party is only the attempt the cover up evidence on purchase of ID cards, money sources, and organizers of political corruption. Deliberate boycott of the session and political decision of instrumentalized prosecution can not hide the fact that in Montenegro ID cards are purchased in organized way, and that political corruption is still part of the election process.

We urge citizens to fight for their constitutionally guaranteed right to freely chose their representatives. We assure all citizens who report us political corruption that we will never reveal their identity and that they will not be exposed to revanchism, political, legal, and media torture of the ruling party. Despite all the pressures, MANS will continue to investigate political corruption and to fight for the right of every citizen in a fair and free elections.
