MANS will together with its observers monitor elections in Podgorica and Municipality Danilovgrad scheduled for June 8th. On 6 polling stations MANS will have a total of 13 observers, and beside that support will have and from a mobile team as it was on May 25th.
Repeated elections will be held at the polling stations No. 117 and 117-A at the Elementary School “November 29”, Dinosa for Tuzi, and at the polling station No. 32 at the school “Djoko Prelevic” in Ubli. Additionally, repeated elections are organized and for three pooling stations in Municipality Danilovgrad No. 32 – Lazine, No. 9 – Gostilje, and No. 19 – Kujava.
As in the elections held on May 25th, MANS’s observers will monitor the entire electoral process, starting from the preparation of polling stations and material, until the end of voting and determining election results.
Beside that, on Sunday MANS’s phones for reporting corruption (020 266 326, 069 446 094) will be available to citizens who have the information about election irregularities, and they would be able to do the same through the secure online platform www. prijavikorupciju.me
All determined irregularities will be documented and after the elections reported to the competent election commissions in accordance with the law. MANS will during the day inform the media about the work of the observers at the polling stations and possible irregularities.
MANS once again urges all participants in the election process to contribute that repeated elections on mentioned polling places are conducted in full respect of legal procedures, law and public order.
We especially urge the election committees at these polling stations, but as well the activists from all political parties to allow smooth monitoring of the electoral process to MANS’s observers, and not to allow repeated harassment of our people as they experienced during the previous elections.
