{"id":938,"date":"2010-05-24T13:37:32","date_gmt":"2010-05-24T12:37:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mans.co.me\/en\/arhiva\/2010\/05\/938\/"},"modified":"2010-05-24T13:38:18","modified_gmt":"2010-05-24T12:38:18","slug":"938","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mans.co.me\/en\/?p=938","title":{"rendered":"Press conference announcement by MANS and GONG"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>PRESS CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT BY MANS AND GONG<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Presentation of the international project  \u201eEnforcement of the Aarhus Convention in the Adriatic Region Countries\u201c  and the international Call for applications for judges, lawyers and  journalists from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro wishing  to participate to its specialized educational programme<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Podgorica, May 25, 2010.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">MANS and GONG will be holding a  press conference on <strong>Tuesday, May 25, at\u00a0 11:00 a.m. at the premises  of MANS, Dalmatinska 188, Podgorica<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Filip Ivanovic (MANS)  and Irena Peresa (GONG) will present the \u201eEnforcement of the Aarhus  Convention in the Adriatic Region Countries\u201c project , financed from the  pre-ascession fund IPA 2008 \u2013 Civil Society Facility. The project aims  to improve implementation standards of the weakest pillar of the Aarhus  Convention \u2013 access to justice in environmental matters, as well as  access to information and public participation in decision-making  processes that deal with environmental matters in Croatia, Bosnia and  Herzegovina and Montenegro.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The key role within the project is  given to a specialized educational programme for 27 judges, lawyers and  journalists from respective countries, selected upon an international  Call for applications that will be announced and opened at the press  conference.\u00a0 The programme will take place in Croatia, and it will  consist in a series of lectures from domestic and foreign Aarhus  Convention and Environmental Law experts.
