By awarding the best investigative story on corruption and organized crime, MANS completed a project supported by the European Union aimed at helping the development of investigative journalism in Montenegro. In the past months, we have worked with the majority of interested media to ensure that their journalists have all the required knowledge and skills necessary to produce good investigative stories.
Over the course of the project, we combined activities of training and providing of technical support for interested journalists, starting with introducing the most up-to-date techniques of investigative journalism and the importance of free access to information to obtain key data, and working together on specific investigative stories.
After completion of the project, MANS will continue to support all journalists who are interested in serious investigative work and brave enough to be part of a team that will continue to seek the truth in spite of everything.
